GOATHACKS 2023 is organized by WPI's chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery and hosted by DraftKings and MathWorks. Hackathon is open to anyone in the US. Hackers MUST be registered at hack.wpi.edu


Teams will submit a video (no longer than 4 minutes) presenting their project, and any relevant supporting materials:

  • A link to any source code (GitHub)
  • Pictures of any hardware
  • Any presentation slides used

  • Overall Design
    How good is the project overall? How technically difficult/complex is the project? Does it feel incomplete or unfinished?
  • Creativity
    How creative or unique is the project?
  • Impact
    Is there potential for this project have a strong impact on society or community? Could this project help or have influence on large groups of people? How beneficial is the project to the user?
  • User Interface/User Experience
    How well thought out is the user interface/user experience of the project ?
  • Video Demonstration
    How effective was the demonstration in helping the audience understand the project?
